According to the expert, meaningful protection against DDoS attacks can’t be limited to the end user — it has to start at the infrastructure level, since ISPs form the backbone of global connectivity and unprotected provider infrastructure puts entire networks and communities of users at risk.
Among the key points raised were the need for purpose-built AntiDDoS platforms designed for ISP-scale traffic and routing requirements, the role of machine learning and neural networks in real-time anomaly detection, and automated mitigation that filters attacks without degrading service for legitimate customers.
